On Memorial Day we went to a local park to cook out and go on some trails. Manny cooked. Brandon taught us how to fish with a water bottle. Even the puppies came. This is Zeus. and Harley. Caterpillars were all over the place. Paris caught about 30 of them. We released them after we ate.

Our Sunday, we took the boat out with some friends for some sun and tubing. We started out in a little cove that we like to tube at and then went over to Egmont Key to go see the old fort. The Saturday before Mother's Day, Mom, Paris and I had tea at this little place in town. A very nice lady took this picture for us. There were beautiful flowers on the deck before you enter. Paris and mom colored while we waited on our tea to arrive.  Paris was put in charge of watching the tea timer.  Tea's ready! My teacup. We were also served this awesome breakfast!

Paris loves to cook and bake, so one saturday morning we got up and I allowed her to make muffins by herself.(mostly) I kept it simple and used a premade mix that only needed eggs and milk. She filled the cups all by herself with little mess.

Every year, there is a fall festival for the preschool classes. It includes games, food, temp tatoos, crafts and this year a visit from the firemen. Enjoy! Well the weather has gotten down to a very brisk 72 degrees here in Florida which has put me in the mood to make an old favorite of mine, "Chicken and Dumplings." I am using our neighbor, "Granny's" recipe which I personally believe to be the best I ever had. She was kind enough to share it with me a couple of years ago. It is sooooo good. Hope all are well.

Still trying to figure this out!Today was a very long day for me. I did not get too much accomplished but I did manage to squeeze in two short naps. We met up with some friends around five and played beach volleyball for awhile. Paris tagged along and played in the sand with her beach toys. I have just set up my email option with blogger so now I can send posts from my Ipod Touch. Only draw back seems to be the lack of spell check, but I will try my best to not have a need for it.During the weekends we are a little more lax on Paris' bed time, but tonite she is jumping off the walls.
