BAY AREA (Bay News 9)-- Almost every part of the Bay area was touched by Sunday's severe weather.
The serious storms came into the area late Sunday afternoon and lasted until early Monday morning. In fact, the Bay area was under a severe storm watch until 2 a.m. Monday.
Sunday's severe storms contained dangerous lightning. Pea- and marble-sized hail fell in some areas, and gusty winds moved up to 50 miles per hour.
